Keep Henrico Beautiful offers County residents of all ages litter prevention and recycling programs, environmental education resources and volunteer opportunities. Winner of a 2009 NACo Achievement Award for the educational initiative, "Back to Basics with Litter and Recycling" Winner of the 2008 Keep Virginia Beautiful First Place Award for Litter Prevention in a Government Agency Co-Winner of the 2007 Keep Virginia Beautiful First Place Award for Litter Prevention in a Government Agency

Current Events:

• Keep Henrico Beautiful was on hand at the A'maize'ing Harvest Festival, the kick-off event for the county's 400th Anniversary. For more 400th anniversary events please visit www.henrico400.com

• During our 4th visit to Bark in the Park, Keep Henrico Beautiful found that dogs like to recycle too! And yes, dog biscuit boxes are recyclable. They are made from paperboard the same type of material cereal boxes are made from.
