“Each Quilt, A Story” Exhibit Opening
For all ages. Celebrate Black History Month at the opening reception for an extraordinary quilt exhibit presented by the Sisters of the Yam African American Quilters Guild! Enjoy the art and craftsmanship of these beautiful quilts and learn about their history and culture from historical interpreters and the quilters themselves. Music will be provided by a local choir, and light refreshments will be served. The quilt exhibit will move to Walkerton Tavern and be on display from February 6-24. Information: 501-5134 or email.

Tax-Aide Program
Tax-Aide is a free tax service provided by the IRS and administered by AARP. All volunteer tax preparers are certified by passing an IRS exam. This program is open to all ages and taxpayers are not required to be AARP members. Tax-Aide cannot prepare Sch C, AMT, or Sch E rental returns. No appointments required or accepted, first-come, first-served basis only. Be sure to bring last year’s returns and all your tax forms for the current year.
