The Henrico Area Mental Health and Developmental Services Board meets once a month. There is no meeting in August. The meetings are normally held on the third Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. The Board holds its meetings at various locations throughout the three county area and occasionally changes the date or time of a meeting. If you are interested in attending, it is suggested that you call the Office of the Executive Director [804-727-8585] to verify the time and location of a meeting. These are public meetings and interested citizens are welcome to attend.
The twelve [12] member Henrico Area Mental Health and Developmental Services Board [CSB] is appointed by the Boards of Supervisors of Henrico, Charles City and New Kent Counties. Seven members are appointed from specific geographic regions - one from each Henrico Magisterial District and one each from Charles City County and New Kent County. The five remaining members must be consumers of service or family members of consumers and one must be a current service recipient.
