The Purchasing Section provides a centralized purchasing system for general government and schools to comply with statutory requirements, as well as to assure the purchase of all goods and services needed by all departments and agencies are procured at the most economical price. This section is also charged with the responsibility of conducting periodic sales of surplus items which are no longer needed by the County or the school system and disposal of unclaimed merchandise and personal property collected by the Division of Police.
